Guidelines for listing non-residential property on the Oklahoma City Economic Development Information System site

The Greater Oklahoma City Chamber’s Economic Development Division operates and maintains an internet-based Geographic Information System (GIS) application for its Partnership; a ten county region known as “The Region or Partnership” for community and economic development. The Internet GIS application (OKCEDIS) will present a business-friendly service to prospective companies interested in doing business in the Region. The information and program will allow these businesses to easily access needed data to speed up and simplify the process of locating/expanding their business in the Region. Individual owners and realtors/brokers interested in marketing their available commercial/industrial property within the Region will be able to add, delete and update their listings through this web-site using a login and password administered by the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber.

  1. OKCEDIS is a Web-based GIS application owned and operated by the Greater OKC Chamber’s Economic Development Division and its Partnership. The application is available for use by the individual owners and realtors / brokers to list their available commercial or industrial properties for sale or lease within the Region. Properties zoned as residential are strictly prohibited.
  2. The Web-based application is a resource to assist in the attraction/expansion of new and existing business to the Region. Through the provision of this site, the Greater OKC Chamber’s Economic Development Division and its Partnership does not guarantee the continued availability of this service, as this application may expire at anytime with or without notice. The Partnership accepts no responsibility for loss of sales/income due to this application being discontinued or temporarily out of service as there is no charge to the endorser.
  3. Upon being registered as an authorized user with the Greater OKC Chamber, commercial or industrial properties within the Region will be able to be categorized and posted as office, industrial, retail, warehouse or vacant land. It is the responsibility of the individual owner and/or realtor/broker to keep their contact information current.
  4. A login name and password will be assigned to each individual owner and/or realtor/broker to create an account. Sharing your login and password with others is prohibited.
  5. Data-input and content of property listings, including photographs on OKCEDIS are the responsibility of the listing individual owners and realtors/brokers. The Region reserves the right to remove listings/content and to block users from accessing this application without notice for improper use.
  6. Files uploaded onto OKCEDIS: Photographs must be in JPEG or GIF format and related brochures/flyers in PDF, Word, Excel, or Text format and combined should not exceed 50KB.
  7. The system is set up to remind individuals via email of their listings every 90 days. Individual owners and realtors/brokers are encouraged to update properties and to remove leased or sold property as “active” within two weeks of sale or lease. Activity will be tracked using a user account. Individual owners and realtor/brokers not keeping listings current will lose the privilege of accessing OKCEDIS.
  8.  There is no guarantee that the information on this web-based site is accurate or complete. Information is provided on an “as is” basis and the Region disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. The Region is not responsible for any damages arising from the use of information on this site. Access to this website, or to any links on this site, is at user’s risk. Users should verify the information before making project commitments.
